Herefordshire Council is recruiting a school crossing patrol to assist children and pedestrians on journeys to and from school at Aylestone Hill, Hereford, during term time.

The role requires a DBS check and involves standing outdoors in all weather, managing pedestrians and traffic with clear communication. Fixed-term contract from September 2026 to July 2028 with on-site training and uniform provided. Working two hours per day, 08:00–09:00 and 15:00–16:00, term-time only.
