The community equipment service (CES) is a specialist provider in Herefordshire, commissioned by Herefordshire Council to deliver equipment that supports independent living.
Responsibilities
- Safely loading and unloading community equipment assets using best-practice manual handling techniques.
- Assisting the driver with deliveries and collections.
- Positioning, assembling, and setting up equipment in service users’ homes.
- Picking, preparing, and loading stock onto vehicles.
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all users.
- Ensuring deliveries are accessible, safe, and completed to a high standard.
