The role will be of interest to either a newly qualified or seeking your first Consultant post or an experienced Consultant. We would like to hear from individuals that share our desire to make a difference, innovate and take pride in their work. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Public Health team in Herefordshire. We are a small, well established team in an organisation and system that values public health and prevention.
As one of the Council's senior leaders, your role will involve leading across adult Health Improvement and Public Health Intelligence. This includes smoking, physical activity, healthy weight, population health management, the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and other programme areas as priorities dictate. The rurality of Herefordshire combined with its small city and market towns provides a challenge in how we commission and provide services.

- Starting Salary: HoS2 £88,296 - £93,012 per annum depending on experience
