Overview

At Tenbury Community Hospital, we are a small, friendly Community Hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care to our local community. This is a part-time role working 34.5 hours per week with rotational shifts. We care for patients with sub-acute needs and support staff with the skills to care for complex cases. Our training and development program supports all RNs in achieving core competencies, with opportunities to gain skills such as cannulation, venepuncture, and IV competence. Responsibilities

  • Provide care to people admitted to our ward for rehabilitation while working closely with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT).
  • Administer medications and collaborate with patients, their families and carers to provide 24/7 rehabilitation to enable the highest level of independence and quality of life.
  • Facilitate day-to-day running of the ward and support the comfort and wellbeing of patients, enabling them to live as independently as possible.
  • Attend meetings as needed, such as MDT, CHC or Discharge Planning.

Qualifications / Training

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration and a commitment to achieving core competencies; opportunities to gain cannulation, venepuncture, and IV competence.
