We currently have a permanent part‑time Housekeeping Supervisor vacancy at New Haven, Bromsgrove working 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8am‑2pm). This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and varied environment alongside clinical teams and infection control. You will lead a small team to deliver professional NHS housekeeping services in accordance with national standards and the Trust’s strategic cleaning plan.

Main duties of the job
We pride ourselves on maintaining cleaning standards to a star‑rated audit process. Working alongside clinical teams and infection control, housekeeping teams ensure the cleanliness of the Trust’s estate in accordance with national standards and the Trust’s strategic cleaning plan.
You will lead a small team to deliver professional NHS housekeeping services in accordance with schedules and procedures and contribute to processes to ensure standards are achieved. Maintain staff records, ensuring rosters meet service needs. Be involved in staff induction and training and complete staff development reviews. Report equipment and environmental defects and manage/replenish housekeeping related stock.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- NVQ1 in Housekeeping or equivalent level of experience
- Original certificates for any qualifications must be provided at point of offer
- Certificates in Health and Safety, Manual Handling
- Any other job related training
Experience
- Previous experience in the cleaning industry
- Supervisory experience in the cleaning industry
- Experience of NHS cleaning supervision would be an advantage
Additional Criteria
- Able to meet the travel requirements of the role
- Understanding that we will not provide sponsorship to work for this role
