Job Description Employment Solicitor – 3-5 PQE Full-time – 5 days per week preferred (Fully Remote / London Office / Hybrid Herefords Employment Solicitors is a growing specialist employment law practice advising employees, senior executives and employers across the full range of UK employment law. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE to join the firm. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, pragmatic and capable of independently managing their own caseload with minimal supervision. The position is preferably full-time, five days per week. It can be undertaken fully remotely from anywhere in the UK, from our central London office, or on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will handle a varied employment law caseload including: grievances, disciplinary and capability/performance matters; Employment Tribunal claims for claimants and respondents; general employment law advice to employees and employers. substantial practical experience in UK employment law; experience independently managing Employment Tribunal litigation; ability to assess merits, quantum and litigation risk; ability to work autonomously without requiring close day-to-day supervision. Employment Tribunal advocacy, particularly preliminary and case-management hearings; complex discrimination and whistleblowing claims; We are particularly interested in someone who combines strong technical knowledge with common sense and commercial judgement. You should be confident dealing directly with clients, comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility for your files, and able to recognise when a particularly complex or high-risk issue genuinely requires escalation.
