The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.
We are looking for a candidate to work part time (35 hours, Monday-Friday) and support our Administration team, based at Station Medical Centre. The applicant will need to have a keen eye for detail, ability to work to process, complete work efficiently and within KPIs, possess a good telephone manner, have good communication skills, and be a team player who can also work well independently.
Working Hours:
- Monday 08:30 - 12:30 | 1 Hr Lunch | 13:30 - 17:00
- Tuesday 09:00 - 13:00 | 1 Hr Lunch | 14:00 - 17:30
- Thursday 09:30 - 13:30 | 1 Hr Lunch | 14:30 - 18:00
- Friday 10:30 - 13:30 | 1 Hr Lunch | 14:30 - 18:00
Main duties of the job:
- Ensure that all contacts from patients and third parties, over the telephone and electronically, are greeted in a friendly helpful manner and handled courteously, efficiently and confidentially at all times.
- Ensure that all requests and enquiries are handled courteously, efficiently and in line with practice policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the filing and recording of patient information both electronic and manual is promptly handled with care and in line with practice policies and procedures.
- Help to ensure that the surgery premises are kept safe and tidy at all times.
- Support the clinicians in their role.
- Alert a supervisor or manager to any problems or concerns from staff or patients when necessary.
- Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

We work across 5 sites with our primary site being a newly purpose built surgery located in Hereford. Qualifications:- A good standard of general education, including English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent.

- European Computer Driving Licence - ECDL.
