We are looking for Commercial Lines Underwriters in Durban and Johannesburg to join our dynamic team!
Role Details
- RE5 Class of Business β Commercial Lines
- Full qualifications NQF4 (with relevant FAIS credits)
Responsibilities
- Remain up to date with product and industry related knowledge to enable effective decision making.
- Regular feedback to customers and other stakeholders, as outlined in the agreed service level agreements to ensure customers receive appropriate levels of service delivery.
- Interpret and process technical short term insurance related information.
- Receive and finalise instructions from clients, brokers and all other stakeholders.
- Attend and contribute to team and individual meetings.
- Capture and update all tasks onto the task management system.
- Develop relationships with clients and ensure consistent high levels of service delivery.
- Maintain a quality assurance process that identifies and corrects shortcomings.
- Act within the scope of your mandate provided by the FSP.
- Compile and generate reports where required by management.
- Achieve annual CPD hours and adhere to all regulations set by the FSCA such as POPIA and Fit & Proper requirements.
- Adhere to all internal and external processes, guidelines, mandates.
