This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate our expanding Short Course programme while supporting wider commercial initiatives that strengthen community engagement, generate income, and maximise the College's specialist creative resources.
As the Business Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, promotion and delivery of commercial programmes, working closely with academic departments, marketing and professional services to ensure an outstanding customer experience and support the College's strategic ambitions around income diversification, student progression, and creative skills development.
The role will lead the operational delivery of HCA's Short Course programme, working with the Partnerships and Business Development Manager, associate tutors, students, employers and creative practitioners to deliver high-quality learning opportunities for leisure learners, career changers, young people, and professionals seeking Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
You will also contribute to wider commercial activity, including venue hire, exhibitions, creative events and partnership projects that increase engagement with the College.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and enthusiastic about creative education. You will be confident coordinating multiple projects, building productive relationships with colleagues and external partners, and using data and customer insight to support continuous improvement and business growth. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes some evening and occasional weekend working to support programme delivery and promotional events.
