We are launching two brand new entertainment venues in the very centre of London; breathing live music back into Soho and ushering in a new era for Denmark Street - the iconic birthplace of British counterculture.
Four levels below ground, and right next to Tottenham Court Road tube station, we have created HERE - a cutting edge 2000 capacity space to host incredible live concerts, club nights, comedy, arts and culture; alongside high profile events, launches, fashion shows and film screenings.
On the infamous Denmark Street where the Sex Pistols lived, the Rolling Stones recorded and David Bowie started his first band, sits The Lower Third - a neighbourhood bar and fiercely independent grass roots music venue championing emerging talent and the unbridled spirit of rock & roll; with a cafe, world class cocktail bar and 200 capacity basement club.
We are looking for enthusiastic bartenders to join us on an adventure that promises total immersion in music, events, and hospitality - with a bunch of like-minded, creatively driven, and passionate people obsessed with creating unforgettable moments that last a lifetime.
As a bartender you will be responsible for friendly and efficient service at high volume in our venues, whether it’s a live concert, club night or private party. You will have one of the best seats in the house so you will need to enjoy the crazy world of music and events - and maintain focus to deliver an amazing guest experience with uncompromising standards.
You will be expected to:
- Prepare the bar for service making sure that everything is complete before service starts
- Work at speed whilst maintaining a clean and efficient high-volume operation
- Communicate with supervisors and managers any issues that may arise with equipment, stock or customers
- Work as a team to achieve targets whilst contributing to a supportive and fun working environment.
You will need some experience as a bartender, preferably in a high volume environment; and an understanding of POS systems. However the most important quality in a candidate is a passion for music and nightlife, and contributing to a memorable experience for our guests, artists and clients.
If you have a love for entertainment, creativity and people from all walks of life, you will fit right in. We love discovering talent. If you are looking for growth, you will find a host of opportunities ahead - whether that be progressing to management, producing a show, or performing in front of a crowd!
