Roles & Responsibilities
- Building and updating websites using WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and Elementor (or similar).
- Making front-end changes with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and back-end updates (basic database edits such as MySQL).
- Performing regular site maintenance including backups, plugin updates and basic troubleshooting.
- Installing and recommending plugins to enhance site usability and performance.
- Collaborating closely with the SEO and design teams to ensure seamless integration.
Skills & Experience
- Commercial experience building websites using WordPress and Shopify.
- Ability to write and edit HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript.
- Confidence maintaining websites and implementing technical improvements.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with tools like Hotjar, VWO or other CRO/testing platforms.
- Understanding of basic SEO principles (site speed, indexing, meta titles).
