Role & Responsibilities

  • As Paid Media Account Director, you’ll take strategic ownership of key performance marketing accounts, acting as a senior client partner while leading teams to deliver exceptional results across PPC and Paid Social.
  • This is a leadership role with influence – shaping account strategy, guiding senior stakeholders, driving commercial growth and helping define best practice across the agency.
  • Lead the strategic direction of high‑value PPC and Paid Social accounts (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and emerging platforms).
  • Act as a trusted senior advisor to clients, owning relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders.
  • Drive commercial growth across accounts through upsell, cross‑sell and long‑term planning.
  • Oversee campaign performance, ensuring best‑in‑class execution, optimisation and reporting.
  • Translate performance data into clear, compelling insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Mentor and develop Account Managers and Paid Media Managers, fostering a high‑performance team culture.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership on agency‑wide initiatives, innovation and process improvement.
  • Contribute to new business pitches, proposals and strategic planning where required.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive hands‑on experience across Paid Search and/or Paid Social within a performance marketing environment.
  • Proven experience managing senior client relationships and large or complex accounts.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience driving account growth and retention.
  • Confident leader with experience mentoring and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker who balances innovation with measurable performance outcomes.
