The Opportunity

  • Supporting a very large and complex litigation, including during trial
  • Assisting with document management using WorkSite, HighQ and SharePoint
  • Conducting research, using internet and other research tools
  • Bundling, including preparation of hard copy bundles and using online court bundling software
  • Managing timelines and task lists
  • Liaising with stakeholders, clients and/or counsel as needed
  • Document review
  • Proofreading
  • Any other duties as required

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • Previous paralegal experience working on large commercial disputes or experience of active case management of smaller disputes is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft programmes, in particular Excel
  • Familiarity with document management systems and online bundling services (such as Opus 2)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
