The focus of this role is to support the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager, UK in the delivery of regional reward and benefits strategies. This role provides an opportunity for an experienced Reward and Benefits professional to gain wider exposure to Reward practice and to work with experienced Managers / Senior Managers to develop value adding analytics and benchmarking in support of decision making. This role will support salary and bonus review and other operational processes but will also include involvement in reward related projects. This role is predominantly UK focused but may provide support to other regional or global reward projects. The role involves some 'number crunching', so the incumbent needs to enjoy working with data.
Key Responsibilities
- Reward day-to-day compensation-related operations, including provision of compensation benchmarking, analysis and documentation of market data to support on-going benchmarking requested by the business.
- Manage the preparation of salary survey submissions.
- Support the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager in all aspects of the UK salary review and bonus processes including working closely with internal and external teams to design and test the pay review system, production of moderation spreadsheets, salary and bonus modelling and calculations, and working closely with HR Business Partners and business managers to advise on issues relating to pay decisions.
- Lead on the delivery of the pay review for some employee populations as required.
- Provide detailed and comprehensive job evaluations for new roles or to capture changes in responsibility.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the recognition programme.
- Respond to day-to-day compensation-related queries from HR colleagues.
- Undertake other compensation related ad hoc tasks as determined by the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager.
- Provide advice on the HSF Kramer benefits programmes to employees and to the wider HR team as a key point of escalation for benefit queries.
- Lead training events for the HR Shared Service team and ensure that the external benefits helpdesk is familiar with the HSF Kramer benefits programme.
- Act as a key contact for approximately 30 external providers including the benefits system / platform, the benefits broker, insurers and other benefits providers.
- Support the annual benefits renewal processes including changes to cover and agreement on rates.
- Support the UK benefits platform design and delivery including testing.
- Adopt technology to support benefit scheme administration and query management.
- Support on international benefits including health insurance and life assurance as required.
- Respond to partner benefit queries and selection requests.
- Support the successful operation of other benefit initiatives and projects, including the wellbeing fund.
- Provide advice and support the delivery of communications and employee engagement.
- Ensure benefits invoicing is handled efficiently with HR Operations and Business Finance.
- Undertake other benefit related ad hoc tasks and projects as determined by the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager.
Skills / Experience
- 2 Years' Reward and Benefits experience preferred, with professional services experience preferable but not essential.
- Job matching and benchmarking knowledge, familiarity of WTW GGS survey methodologies useful.
- Workday knowledge preferable but not essential.
- Good analytical and data manipulation skills, comfortable creating spreadsheets and providing detailed analysis of complex data sets.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Numerate.
- Client-focused, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of how employee benefit schemes are often structured.
- An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
