Position: We are looking for a Paraplanner to join our team and provide day-to-day support to the Financial Planners. Our Paraplanner role is much more client-focused than you might find in other IFA firms. We wish for our paraplanners to attend some client meetings, research and produce technically accurate and well-written follow-up work. The pay range is approximately £50,000 - £60,000, dependent on qualifications and experience. Our ideal candidate will be Chartered or actively working towards Chartered status, with a strong technical skillset and a minimum of four years’ experience in a paraplanning role.
Responsibilities: Supporting the Financial Planner to deliver our client service commitment by following the client engagement and ongoing service processes. A full role description can be provided on request and will be reviewed at interview stages.
Location: Herbert Scott is based in the centre of Lewes, East Sussex. Our new office has been developed with flexible and healthy working in mind, and employees are encouraged to move around the building to enjoy different types of working environments, depending upon the tasks they are undertaking. There is on-street parking less than 10 minutes away and the local train station, which provides direct links to Brighton, Eastbourne and Haywards Heath, is just a 5-minute walk.
