Our client, a trailblazing software consultancy, is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their established engineering team and spearhead their cross-platform mobile development efforts using Xamarin and MAUI. This is an opportunity to deliver innovative, forward-thinking mobile solutions for some of the UK's most exciting companies.
Position Overview:
As a Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in building out the company's cross-platform mobile capability. You will be responsible for delivering innovative, high-quality mobile applications from inception to market, making key decisions on security, performance, and industry best practices. Your expertise in Xamarin and MAUI development, combined with your strong interpersonal skills, will enable you to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, developers, and testers.
You must be able to demonstrate the following experience:
- In-depth knowledge of Xamarin and MAUI development
- Strong experience with Xamarin Forms
- Deep understanding of software architecture and implementation, including modularisation, MVVM, OOP, TDD, and SOLID principles
- Proven track record of translating designs (Figma) into functional mobile applications
- Experience with RESTful APIs and OAuth security
- Familiarity with supplementary mobile services such as Google Firebase
- Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive technical documentation
- Experience with CI/CD for Xamarin/MAUI builds and releases (Azure DevOps)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with clients in a transparent agile SCRUM process
