Our client, a trailblazer in the e-commerce furniture startup world, is seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to drive innovation and growth in their rapidly expanding business. Position Overview:

As the Product Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company\’s product range and driving innovation. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a cohesive product offering that reflects the brand\’s identity and meets market needs. Leveraging data insights, market research, and customer feedback, you will identify opportunities for new products and enhancements, ensuring the company remains competitive and relevant in the evolving e-commerce landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive product range aligned with the brand\’s identity and market needs
  • Utilise data insights, market research, and customer feedback to drive product innovation
  • Identify and establish partnerships with joinery workshops and suppliers to produce high-quality products
  • Analyse market pricing trends and assist in running price tests to optimise pricing strategies
  • Implement product improvements based on performance analysis and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with business objectives

Essential Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in new product development, preferably in the Home/Furniture/E-commerce sector
  • Proven track record of making data-driven decisions
  • Experience working with global suppliers and managing supply chains
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to visit suppliers and oversee product development (occasional)
  • Background in Buying, Range Planning, or Product Development essential
