They're looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to generate new opportunities across the UK dealer ecosystem. Position Overview:
As Sales Development Representative, you'll own outbound prospecting activity across target dealer groups whilst supporting the wider commercial team with pipeline generation. You'll conduct structured research on target businesses using AI tools to identify stakeholders, engage sales and aftersales leaders through multi-channel outreach, and qualify opportunities before booking meetings for the commercial team. This role is central to the company's growth strategy and offers a clear progression pathway into Business Development for high performing individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage outbound prospecting activity through warm calling, email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, trade events and referrals.
- Conduct AI-powered research on target dealers to identify stakeholders, analyse profiles and tailor outreach based on revenue pain points.
- Engage sales and aftersales decision-makers across dealer groups to generate qualified meetings and opportunities.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, identifying genuine commercial opportunities for the wider sales team.
- Use AI tools for prospect research, stakeholder intelligence, outreach preparation and competitive analysis.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in HubSpot and provide reliable reporting on prospecting performance.
- Build and nurture relationships across multiple buyer roles within target accounts.
- Collaborate closely with the wider commercial team to refine messaging, improve outreach effectiveness and support revenue growth.
- Manage follow-up activity with discipline and consistency across all prospect conversations.
- Continuously improve prospecting approach based on feedback, performance metrics and market insight.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within automotive, SaaS or related sectors.
- Confidence with warm prospecting across phone, email and LinkedIn channels.
- Strong communication skills with ability to build credibility and rapport quickly.
- Organised and disciplined approach to pipeline management and follow-up activity.
- Demonstrated ability to work towards activity and performance targets in a self-directed environment.
- Knowledge of automotive dealer operations, aftersales or OEM environments (desirable but not essential).
- Demonstrated use of AI tools in a professional context for research, outreach or sales preparation.
- Proficiency with HubSpot or comparable CRM, with discipline around data hygiene and pipeline accuracy.
