Office Manager & Executive Assistant (12 - 15 Month Maternity Cover) Mayfair, London | Hybrid Working (2–3 Days in Office)

We are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and entrepreneurial venture capital firm based in the heart of Mayfair to recruit an exceptional Office Manager & Executive Assistant on a 12–15 month maternity cover contract, commencing in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuinely collaborative, high‑performing and close‑knit team where no two days are the same. Acting as the glue of the office, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the business runs seamlessly whilst providing high‑level support to the Founding Partner and three additional Partners. This is a highly visible role offering broad exposure across office management, operations and executive support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing proactive EA support to the Founding Partner and three Partners, including complex diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements.
  • Acting as the central point of contact for the office, ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the business.
  • Managing supplier relationships and overseeing all office‑related services and facilities.
  • Supporting operational initiatives alongside the Finance Director.
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of events, investor meetings and large‑scale AGMs.
  • Coordinating office logistics and maintaining a welcoming, professional and efficient working environment.
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and business initiatives as required.
The Candidate

We are seeking an upbeat, bright and highly capable individual who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and is happy to roll up their sleeves to support wherever needed. The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a boutique private equity, venture capital, investment management or similar small financial services environment.
  • A strong understanding of the dynamics of a smaller firm, where flexibility, initiative and adaptability are essential.
  • Experience spanning both Executive Assistant and Office Management responsibilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A positive, proactive and solutions‑focused approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
  • A genuine team‑player mentality and willingness to get involved across the business.
