OVERVIEW

Role: Domestic Oil Gas Engineer

Salary: £30,000 – £60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Incentives and out-of-hours opportunities are also available.

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8 hours per day)

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in oil and gas boiler breakdowns, repairs, and servicing
• Oil and gas boiler installation (preferred but not essential)
• Gas Safe Registered
• Driving license

Tasks and Duties

• Service, repair, and maintain oil and gas heating systems
• Service and repair boilers in accordance with Gas Safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines
• Assess repairs, diagnose faults, and ensure systems are in good working order
• Highlight and manage risks with appropriate safety plans
• Perform general plumbing and basic multi-trade tasks
• Complete work accurately and promptly, communicating with the customer service team
• Collaborate with coordinators, supervisors, and directors
• Occasionally work out of hours
• Maintain brand standards, keep the van and attire tidy
• Use modern technology such as tablets and smartphones
