Scope:
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure analyst required to join a small team that are transitioning the IT systems of the organisation, embracing modern workplace technologies, and adopting new methods and practices.
Key Objectives:
- Supporting the modernisation of all aspects of IT within the business.
- Assisting the Support desk.
- Analysing the existing infrastructure and suggesting/researching improvements.
- Monitoring and maintaining all aspects of the infrastructure.
- Provide business focused information as required.
Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP, IP/Subnetting, VLANs).
- Windows Server 2016-2019.
- Office/Microsoft 365 (F through to E suites).
- Modern identities & security.
- Azure (PaaS, IaaS) security & governance.
- Familiar with firewall configuration & advance threat hunting.
- Experience with security tools and general vulnerability management.
- Production of documentation for end users and the support desk.
Summary of Daily Duties:
- Monitor and maintain the infrastructure.
- Undertake regular patch/upgrade activities.
- Assist IT support team with end-user queries.
- Assist in configuring end user devices (new hardware/policy/compliance management).
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm. 1-hour for lunch. 35-hours per week.
