About the role: H&C is looking for technicians with drive and passion to provide excellent service for their customers. Ideally with experience of ground care machinery diagnostics, repairs and maintenance but not essential if you have mechanical experience as training would be provided. Training will be provided with key manufacturers to ensure that your skills and knowledge grow in this important position.
Your Duties will include:
- Repairing, reworking and checking returned machinery
- Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
- Service and repairs to all makes and models of grass cutting machinery and associated equipment
- Determining repair method and identification and fitting of replacement parts
- Using the computerised systems to identify parts and service information
- General housekeeping in the working area
Experience: Knowledge and experience using methods, materials, tools and techniques in the repair and maintenance of mechanical machinery including small engines. Ability to work on own initiative. Competent in the use of computerised systems. Ability to diagnose problems and find solutions.
