The role:
As the Senior Specification Technologist, your responsibilities will include completing product specifications for various retailers, customers, and our own brand across multiple accounts, including high-profile grocery chains and discount retailers. You will manage and administer retailer systems, ensuring specifications and artwork meet high standards of accuracy and deadlines.
You will approve supplier specifications, ensure compliance with retailer/customer codes of practice and food legislation, support the NPD team with nutritional calculations, cross-check documentation, and contribute to pre- and post-launch reviews to meet KPIs.
You:
- Have 12+ months experience in Specification writing for a UK food manufacturer.
- Possess knowledge of major UK retailer specification systems.
- Have a strong understanding of retailer requirements and codes of practice.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Note: You must be able to work 3 days onsite in North Wales or be open to relocating within a radius of the site.
