Position
We are looking for a Social Group Volunteer to help facilitate a weekly Luncheon club in Salford on a Wednesday supporting the group leader. Role includes:
- Guide as required at meetings and on occasional lunches/trips out.
- To assist with collecting subs.
- To assist with refreshments.
- To encourage social interaction between group members.
- To assist with fundraising activities as required.
- Occasional driving VI Clients.
Commitment
4 x hours, Every Wednesday. This post is unpaid, you will be able to claim out of pocket expenses as agreed by your line manager. Due to the nature/location of this role, applicants will require a DBS check (facilitated by Henshaws).

Support you will receive from Henshaws
- Regular contact with the manager responsible for the area with which you will volunteer.

- We will reimburse reasonable expenses.
- Full training and supervision will be given as appropriate for the volunteering role.
- Volunteers are invited to attend Henshaws events which include other areas of our work.
- We ask all our volunteers to follow Henshaws policies and procedures.
- We will need you to complete documentation relating to the role.
