Henshaws is dedicated to empowering individuals with sight loss and a range of other disabilities to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling, independent lives. Through specialist support, advice, and training, we enable people and their families to build confidence and skills for a brighter future. Our diverse services span the north of England and include a specialist College in Harrogate for young people aged 16-25, an Arts and Crafts Centre in Knaresborough, Housing and Supported Living services across Yorkshire and the North East, and Community Services in Manchester and Liverpool that promote social connections and independence.

We are looking for a Health and Safety Officer who can lead day to day operational health and safety across Henshaws. This role suits someone who is practical, calm under pressure and confident working with teams across different sites. You will help ensure safe and positive environments for staff, students, artmakers and visitors.

Salary: £18.02 per hour which is £32,796.40 per annum

Hours per week: 35 and part time may be considered

Weeks per year: 52

Annual leave: 5 weeks plus 10 days
