Health and Safety Lead in Harrogate

Join our Estates and Facilities team and help create safe, positive environments for our staff, students and visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional who enjoys working collaboratively and making a real difference.

Salary: £32,796.40 per annum (£18.02 per hour)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Henshaws College, Starbeck, Harrogate with travel to other sites

Although the role is advertised at 35 hours per week, we welcome applications from those seeking part time hours. We are committed to supporting flexibility and are happy to discuss working patterns that enable you to succeed in the role.

What you’ll do:

• Lead day-to-day Health & Safety operations across Henshaws
• Implement and maintain effective systems and processes
• Support managers with risk assessments and compliance
• Act as a visible and approachable Health & Safety professional

What we’re looking for:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
• Practical experience delivering Health & Safety in an operational setting
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Flexibility to travel between sites
• Enhanced DBS check required

Desirable: Membership of IOSH and experience in regulated care or education environments.
