Responsibilities

  • Assist students with their personal care requirements as needed, whilst maintaining their dignity.
  • Support students in a way that promotes their independence and development in the education setting.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to complete within an agreed timeframe.
  • Willingness to undertake and achieve Skills for Care Induction Award within 12 weeks if no formal care qualifications.

Salary

SEN Care Level 1 £13.02 per hour on weekdays / £14.52 per hour weekends / SEN Care Level 2 £13.19 per hour on weekdays and £14.69 per hour weekends.

Hours and Leave

Shifts available: Day, Evenings and Weekends – fixed shifts no rolling rota!
Hours: Full and Part-time hours.
Weeks: 52 per year.
Annual leave: 5 weeks plus 10 days bank holidays.
