Role Overview

Tutor responsible for the delivery of teaching and learning sessions to adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The tutor will assess student progress, guide learners to maximise their potential, and create a positive, empowering learning environment that promotes independence and confidence.

Compensation and Hours

Salary: £15.37 per hour / £26,637.44 per annum
Hours: 37 per week
Weeks: 40 per year
Holiday: 6.84 weeks
Closing date: 30th January 2026 12 Noon

Requirements

• Experience working in further education and/or a SEND environment
• Experience teaching small groups of students or other relevant groups, including directing support staff
• Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE grade A*–C) or equivalent
• Degree, HND, Foundation Degree or nationally recognised professional qualification relevant to the role

Have or be willing to work towards a Level 5 Teaching qualification. Teacher Training must be completed within 2 years of commencing employment.
