We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Hensall Food’s team as a Food Line Operator at our Ready Meals Plant. The Food Line Operator is responsible for performing tasks related to the production, sanitation and packaging of Ready Meals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with production related tasks to support operations
- Maintain and ensure necessary production-related paperwork is completed
- Perform sanitation procedures including cleaning equipment, utensils, and food contact surfaces
- Support sanitation and cleaning activities during shift changes
- Understand and follow all HFI Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Other duties will be assigned as necessary by Ready Meals management
Job Requirements:
- Highly motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented and analytical thinker
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented and ability to collaborate with all departments
- Ability to follow sanitation procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- This job requires work on the production floor, as well as standing and walking
- Other requirements might include transporting pallets or racks from production to cook line
- Lifting boxes up to 50lbs
- Other jobs assigned by the Production Manager or Lead Hand
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience with processing and food manufacturing is an asset
