We\'re looking for an accredited Infant Feeding Practitioner or Breastfeeding Counsellor to join our friendly and supportive team. You\'ll provide compassionate, evidence-based support through drop-in sessions, workshops, outreach activities and our infant feeding helpline, while helping build strong relationships across Family Hubs, health services and community organisations.

What you\'ll do
- Deliver high-quality infant feeding support to families
- Lead community drop-ins, workshops and outreach activities
- Build relationships with health and community partners
- Support breastfeeding promotion and Baby Friendly practices
- Gather feedback and data to help improve services
- Help connect families to wider support available through Family Hubs
About you
- Accredited breastfeeding training at Peer Supporter level or above
- At least one year\'s experience providing infant feeding support
- Skilled in working with diverse families and communities
- Empathic, non-judgemental and committed to person-centred support
- Confident building partnerships and working as part of a team
- Fixed-term maternity cover until predicted end date of 30th June 2027
- Intended start date: Early September 2026
- Based on a full-time salary of Β£30,626.46 per annum
- 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE). There is a possibility that, for the right candidate, this role could be offered on a part-time basis, either three days per week (0.6 FTE) or four days per week (0.8 FTE). The minimum working pattern would be Monday to Wednesday.
