Your Impact
As a Senior Product Designer II, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the user experience in Dentally, our cloud‑based practice management system that powers the work of over 40,000 active users and supports the care of 2 million patients each month. Your designs will empower dentists, administrative teams, and practice owners with intuitive, impactful interfaces that elevate every aspect of practice management. You will also play a key role in designing AI‑augmented workflows and intelligent interfaces, helping to translate the potential of machine learning into experiences that are simple, elegant, and trustworthy.
What You’ll Do
- Design user experiences that use AI and automation to improve outcomes, save time, and personalise the product.
- Produce engaging user interfaces, crafting wireframes and high‑fidelity visuals that enhance user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and design technologies to keep our products at the cutting edge.
- Collaborate with your squad‑mates and fellow designers to meet and exceed targets and KPIs.
- Foster a trusting and collaborative team environment.
- Communicate effectively, articulating the vision and rationale behind design decisions to various stakeholders, from executives to developers.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, actively integrating feedback to refine and enhance design solutions.
- Demonstrate how design supports business value and enhances customer satisfaction.
- Utilise expertise in user research, occasionally employing ethnographic research techniques to gather insights.
- Contribute to the creation of a systemised component library in Figma, ensuring consistency across design projects.
- Apply your experience in creating intelligent, scalable software solutions to help ensure that Dentally remains robust, flexible, and future‑proof.
What You’ll Bring With You
- 6–8 years of experience in product design.
- A strong interest or background in AI‑assisted design, automation, or machine learning principles.
- Strong UX research skills, with ethnographic research expertise a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams (Trios).
- Familiarity with open design practices, with an emphasis on sharing and collaboration.
- Proficiency in Figma for UI design and wireframing.
- Strong communication skills for articulating design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience in Growth Squads, including A/B testing and variant testing, is a bonus.
- Experience with service design and service blueprinting to optimise end‑to‑end experiences is a bonus.
