About Us

We are Henry Schein One UK - an international tech company building world-class SaaS products. We’re innovators, relentless in our pursuit of customer success and constantly pushing the boundaries of the possible. Our journey is rooted in innovation and propelled by growth. From launching one of the world’s first dental practice software platforms to being acquired by the Henry Schein Group (NASDAQ) and recently acquiring the cloud start-up Dentally in 2020. Today we’re the global dominator in our space, blending pace, innovation and scale-up culture with a talent-dense UK team of over 250 people supporting customers across the UK, APAC and Canada.

Culture matters deeply to us. We’ve been recognised as Sunday Times Best Places To Work employer for both 2023 and 2024 and we’re super proud of who we are. As an inclusive and forward-thinking company, we are committed to creating an environment that values diversity and flexibility and promotes equal opportunities for all individuals.

What We Do

We solve real-world problems that affect millions of people around the world, every day. Our vision is to ensure everyone has access to a dentist, and every dentist and their practice has access to the right software to provide great dental care. From AI tools that provide early diagnosis and treatment of tooth decay and potentially life-threatening conditions such as mouth cancer, virtual and augmented reality tools that help dentists train and educate their patients, to cloud-based software that makes it easier for dental professionals to manage their practices and patients, and tele-dentistry solutions that now make it possible to provide dental care to people in remote areas. Day by day we are shaping the future of the dental industry and we are proud to have a positive impact on society.

Engineering Culture

We are problem solvers, not ticket takers. We’re not about following strict processes or micromanaging. We operate on trust and focus on making a real impact. Our teams are mission-focused and presented with problems, supported by context and research to help them deliver valuable solutions.

We’re a continuous delivery-focused group. We ship changes to production 100+ times per month, plan our commitments every quarter and work in 6-week cycles that enable us to solve real problems for our users and their patients, while balancing technical debt, bugs, innovation and team growth. Our teams are directly responsible for making decisions that will improve oral care services for thousands of dental professionals and their patients, working closely with customers, product and design.

We keep things simple. We build software that delivers value for our users whether they are our customers, employees or other stakeholders. We make small changes that deliver business value, test these with our users and iterate on the feedback. We resist the urge to over-engineer our solutions. We let our users and the data tell us where we go next.

About You

  • Self-motivated; able to drive outcomes with little guidance
  • Self-aware; comfortable being challenged by your peers and sharing knowledge
  • Collaborative, accustomed to working closely with Product and wider teams
  • Driving; Proven experience taking the initiative on engineering projects.
  • Problem solver; you naturally enjoy solving challenges others may struggle with

What You’ll Work On
