The Practice Broker will take responsibility for the marketing, promotion, and sale of dental practices, ensuring excellent customer service by maintaining constant communication with all clients. The Practice Broker will register buyers and sellers, collect specifications, arrange viewings, and negotiate offers. They will monitor sales as they proceed, liaise with all interested parties, including solicitors and financial institutions, and provide regular updates to both buyers and sellers. The Practice Broker will ensure that all transactions proceed in a timely manner, with high levels of referrals to our affiliates. They will also ensure that all incoming calls are dealt with professionally and that deposits are taken timely for transactions. The Practice Broker will help buyers decide what type of practice they would like to buy while advising sellers and promoting practices for sale. Flexibility will be a key aspect of this role. The Practice Broker will be required to switch tasks, attend dental seminars, exhibitions, and practice visits, and work outside standard office hours to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationships through appropriate propositions, ethical methods, and internal liaison.
- Ensure excellent customer service for both buyers and sellers.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors and financiers to expedite the sale process.
- Manage seller and buyer expectations regarding business timescales and quality levels.
- Monitor sales, aiding buyers and sellers throughout the full cycle of their sale/purchase.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of marketing, sales and completion process, while following current dental legislation.
- Ensure effective communication with key seller/client relationships.
- Design marketing brochures and promotional materials.
- Maintain client confidentiality and manage time effectively.
- Meet and exceed set targets and ensure all sellers/buyers are aware of our terms, conditions, and policies.
- Examine accounts, financial statements, and liaise with banks and solicitors.
- Analyse information and prepare plans best suited to individual clients.
- Promote the company internally within the Henry Schein group and externally, attend events, and network effectively.
- Ensure effective IT system management, database maintenance and collaboration with transition to new systems as appropriate.
- Actively recognize and improve business' information systems and procedures.

Requirements / Qualifications
- Henry Schein suite of compliance training upon commencement of role.
- Experience of selling financial services products and services desirable.
- Experience of working on a consultative basis with customers.
- A general understanding of EBITDA desirable.
- Comfortable working in a competitive sales environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, preferably gained through experience in a technical customer service role.
- Sound knowledge of marketing sales and completion processes desirable.
- Great time management, and the ability to juggle multiple competing stakeholders.
- Insight into the dental industry is desirable, although not a requirement.
- Comfortable working in a busy, multidiscipline team, to achieve overall business objectives.
