A new opportunity has become available for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join an established, fully PVT practice located in Tunbridge Wells.
Start date β March 2026
This role is to work full time or part time. Ideal β Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Could offer β Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays.
Working hours:
- Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 08:30 β 17:30
- Tuesdays 08:30 β 19:30
- Saturdays 09:00 β 16:00
Consisting of 4 surgeries, they are fully equipped and computerised using Software of Excellence. Digital X-rays, CBCT Scanner, Medit and Staumann Scanners on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warm Welcome: Greet patients warmly, helping to ease the nerves of those who may be anxious. Your kindness and empathy will make a lasting impression.
- Patient Support: Provide a comforting presence to both new patients and our regular patients, many of whom know our nurses by name.
- Administration: Help dentists with the computer software - note taking, charting etc. Manage the laboratory diary to ensure all lab work back prior to the patients appointments. Fill out paperwork for compliance with all regulations.
- Chair side assistance: General nursing duties for all routine dental care including adults and children, restorative, extractions, root canals, orthodontics, implants etc.
- Team work: Our current nursing team have found a lovely way to work together and are always helping each other. All surgeries are re-stocked and left in a way the next nurse is happy to find it. Nurses help each other with instruments and help the hygienist as required.
- Decontamination: We have gold standard decontamination unit with separate clean and dirty rooms. All nurses are responsible for the decontamination processes.
