DENTAL PRACTICE MANAGER - MANCHESTER We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Practice Manager to join a well-established practice in Manchester and oversee the day‑to‑day running of the practice.
Key Details Start date: As soon as possible Days of work: Monday – Friday Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: DOE, £36,000 – £40,000 Practice Information Established for over 60 years, primarily a private practice (85% private), with 4 dental surgeries.
The practice is computerised using SOE/Exact software and uses digital x‑rays.
Location Located in the heart of Manchester, the practice is a city centre location with no parking available.
Deansgate train station is about an 8‑minute walk away.
Responsibilities Open and close the practice and run reception on a daily basis.
Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the practice.
Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of service.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain adequate inventory levels and timely delivery of supplies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care, staff schedules, and financial transactions.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
Requirements Proven experience in practice management.
Knowledge of dental practices and procedures is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in computer software applications (experience with Exact is preferred).
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
At least 1 year of UK dental practice management experience.
