LEAD DENTAL NURSE REQUIRED IN BIRMINGHAM

To work Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract. Offering Competitive salary, dependent on experience. Must have minimum 4 years clinical dental nursing experience to apply. Implant Nursing experience is essential.

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and proactive Lead Dental Nurse to join our five-star dental practice. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our clinicians with advanced treatments, including dental implants and full-mouth rehabilitation, while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care, infection control, and patient support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists during a wide range of treatments, including implant and cosmetic procedures.
  • Prepare, maintain, and turn over treatment rooms to a high standard.
  • Sterilise and organise instruments following HTM 01-05 protocols.
  • Take, process, and store dental radiographs (if certified).
  • Support patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and reassurance.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and manage patient files with discretion and professionalism.
  • Educate patients on oral health, aftercare, and hygiene practices.
  • Ensure clinical and communal areas are immaculate and well-stocked at all times.
  • Lead and motivate junior nursing staff, supporting training and development.
  • Uphold CQC and GDC standards and contribute to audits and inspections.
