The Role
As Senior Planner, you will play a key role in the development, management and monitoring of project programmes from tender stage through to project completion. Working closely with project directors, construction teams, commercial teams and clients, you will ensure robust planning strategies are implemented to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop tender, contract and construction programmes using Asta Powerproject.
- Produce programme narratives, logistics plans and construction methodologies.
- Monitor progress against programme and identify risks and opportunities.
- Carry out critical path analysis and programme optimisation.
- Support project teams with short-term planning and recovery programmes where required.
- Develop phasing and sequencing strategies for complex projects.
- Prepare progress reports and programme updates for senior stakeholders and clients.
- Work closely with commercial teams regarding programme implications, change management and delay analysis.
- Attend client, design and project meetings as the planning lead.
- Support pre-construction teams with bid submissions and programme development.
