We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to take ownership of the commercial management of major water and utilities frameworks. This role will oversee a portfolio of projects with a combined value of approximately £30 million across three key long-term frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all commercial and contractual aspects across multiple projects within three major frameworks
- Manage project costs, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure commercial performance
- Administer contracts (e.g., NEC/JCT), including change control, variations, and claims management
- Provide strategic commercial advice to senior stakeholders and project teams
- Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve best value outcomes
- Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company governance and industry regulations
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager within water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong track record managing multiple projects with a combined value of £30m+
- In-depth knowledge of NEC 3+4 contracts
