I’m currently working with a leading Tier 1 contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Design Manager to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected business delivering major projects across multiple sectors including:

The Role:
- Managing projects from pre-construction through delivery
- Leading consultant coordination and driving design programmes
- Working closely with operational and commercial teams
- Managing technical compliance, buildability and design risk
- Chairing design team meetings and stakeholder workshops
- Supporting procurement and subcontractor design coordination
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality expectations
Requirements:
- Proven experience working for a main contractor or developer
- Strong Design Management experience across complex construction projects
- Good understanding of Building Regulations and construction methodology
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
