A leading Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join the team on a brand-new £110M residential new build development in Greenwich. This flagship scheme will deliver high-quality RC frame apartment blocks, with work due to start on site this September. Piling works are already complete, and the project is ready to progress into structural and superstructure phases. The Role As Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering activities across the site, ensuring works are set out accurately, quality is maintained to the highest standards, and the build is delivered safely and on programme. You will play a key role in managing QA documentation, supporting the project team, and ensuring slipform and RC frame works are delivered in line with specifications. Key Responsibilities * Setting out, levelling, and surveying site works in accordance with drawings and specifications. * Supervising and coordinating slipform operations for core and lift shaft construction. * Managing QA processes, including inspections, test plans, and maintaining accurate site records. * Overseeing RC frame works, ensuring compliance with design and engineering standards. * Liaising with subcontractors, consultants, and the wider project team to resolve technical queries. * Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times. * Producing as-built surveys and supporting documentation for handover. Requirements * Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer, including experience at Senior level. * Proven slipform experience on high-rise or large-scale projects. * Strong background in RC frame and concrete works. * Solid understanding of QA processes and documentation. * Competent with setting out equipment and relevant software. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar)
