Senior Building Services Manager (SBSM)
Reporting to: Regional Director / Regional Building Services Manager (RBSM)
The Senior Building Services Manager (SBSM) is responsible for the successful delivery of building services systems across designated large–scale or multiple smaller projects. The role ensures that all systems are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety, quality, and energy performance objectives.
A key aspect of the role is to lead, guide, and motivate project teams in the application of structured MEP management systems to consistently deliver fully integrated and commissioned building services. These systems must comply with all design specifications, statutory regulations, and client expectations, ensuring seamless handover and reliable operational performance upon project completion.
Candidate Profile

Experience:

More than 10 years of experience managing complex, large–scale MEP projects across all phases, including estimating, pre–construction, installation, commissioning, demonstration, and handover.

Technical & Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of the MEP supply chain and current market dynamics.

Demonstrates technical expertise, commercial acumen, and interpersonal skills necessary to manage and deliver complex MEP works effectively.

Qualifications:

Holds a recognised academic or technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or MEP–related disciplines.

Professional membership of a relevant industry body such as CIBSE, CIOB, IEI, or equivalent.

Certified in IOSH or holds an equivalent health and safety accreditation.
