The Project involves a landmark 27-storey student accommodation building that presents a technically challenging and rewarding opportunity. The site is a tight “postage stamp” footprint, situated adjacent to a railway embankment, requiring meticulous planning and coordination. The Role includes taking ownership of the project from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery in line with design, programme, and quality objectives. - Oversee all on-site operations from early works to handover.
- Manage the project team and coordinate sub-contractors to meet key programme milestones.
- Drive quality, safety, and compliance in all aspects of the build.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure robust documentation, reporting, and risk management procedures.
- Lead progress meetings, reporting regularly to the Project Director.
Requirements include:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex new-build schemes (£40M+).
- Strong technical knowledge, particularly with high-rise concrete frame structures.
- Experience managing projects on tight or constrained inner-city sites.
- Excellent programme management and problem-solving skills.
- Background in student accommodation, residential, or mixed-use developments preferred.
Remuneration includes a competitive salary and benefits package (DOE) and long-term career progression within a growing, reputable contractor.
This is a standout opportunity for a technically adept, delivery-focused Project Manager to take on a high-profile London scheme and develop within a strong Tier 2 main contracting business. Apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion.
