A well-established Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of a high-profile student accommodation development at 22 Kingsway, London WC2B 6LE. This exciting city-centre scheme involves the removal of the existing roof slab, replacement of the 8th-floor structure, and a two-storey upward extension to create a modern 360-bed student accommodation development (35% affordable). The project also includes two ground-floor retail units and a range of sustainability features, such as solar panels, SuDS systems, green and blue roofs, and a landscaped rooftop terrace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the project from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Manage the site and delivery team, ensuring quality, programme, and safety standards are achieved.
  • Coordinate all subcontractor and design team activities.
  • Oversee structural alterations, refurbishment, and new-build elements.
  • Maintain strong communication with the client, consultants, and stakeholders.
