Fit Out Manager (London Area)

Job Title: Fit Out Site Manager – Luxury Commercial Office Fit-Out

Location: Central London

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + Package (Negotiable depending on experience)

Sector: Tier 1 Main Contractor – High-End Commercial Fit Out

The Opportunity:

We’re working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor renowned for delivering high-end commercial spaces across London. With a newly secured luxury office fit-out project in Central London, they are looking to appoint an experienced Fit Out Site Manager to join the delivery team.

This is a flagship scheme for a prestigious client, with finishes at the very highest end of the commercial fit-out spectrum. You will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades, maintaining programme and quality standards, and ensuring exceptional delivery from shell & core through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site fit-out works from internal partitions through to final finishes
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered to spec, on time and to the highest standard
• Maintain and enforce health & safety compliance at all times
• Ensure site records, progress reports, snag lists, and daily logs are up to date
• Work closely with the Project Manager and client team to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects, with a Tier 1 contractor (Overbury, ISG type firms)
• Strong knowledge of high-end finishes and fast-paced fit-out environments
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certified
• Excellent communication, coordination, and team leadership skills
• Able to drive programme, quality and health & safety on complex city-centre projects
• Longevity within positions (Ideally 3-4 years in each firm)
• Trade background (carpenter, tiler, screeding, joinery etc) or Construction degree
