We are currently looking to speak with Construction Sustainability Managers for a leading Tier one main contractor who operates across East of England including Cambridge, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. These roles will focus on driving sustainability performance across major construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring environmental targets and client ESG objectives are achieved on site.
Key responsibilities are likely to include:
- Leading sustainability initiatives across live construction projects
- Managing BREEAM, WELL, NABERS, and other environmental compliance requirements
- Monitoring carbon reduction, waste management, energy efficiency, and circular economy targets
- Supporting project teams with sustainable construction methodologies and best practice
- Carrying out site audits, environmental inspections, and sustainability reporting
- Working closely with design, commercial, and delivery teams to improve environmental performance
- Engaging with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to drive sustainability objectives
- Supporting company-wide ESG strategies and net zero commitments
We are particularly interested in candidates with main contractor experience across commercial, residential, healthcare, infrastructure, or fit-out projects. Experience with environmental management systems, carbon reporting tools, and sustainability certifications is also desirable.
