Leading Tier 1 main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Commissioning Manager to support delivery of major London‑based projects, typically valued at £50m and above. This key role within the project team focuses on ensuring all building services systems are properly planned, tested, and commissioned through to practical completion and handover. You’ll be joining complex, high‑profile schemes where commissioning strategy and execution are critical to overall project success.

Working closely with project leadership, design teams and specialist subcontractors, you will take ownership of the commissioning process across mechanical, electrical and public health systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing commissioning plans
  • Managing programmes
  • Witnessing testing activities
  • Ensuring all systems are fully compliant with specification and regulatory requirements
  • Identifying and resolving issues early
  • Coordinating interfaces between services
  • Ensuring a smooth, structured handover process to the client and end users
