Building Services Manager – London

We’re currently working in partnership with a leading Tier 1 contractor to appoint an experienced Building Services Manager for a portfolio of major projects across London, typically valued at £50m and above.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded contractor known for delivering complex, high-specification schemes across the capital. Our client is seeking someone who can take ownership of MEP delivery on site and play a key role in ensuring projects are completed to the highest technical and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be embedded within a high-performing project team, overseeing the coordination, installation, and commissioning of all building services packages.
• You’ll liaise closely with consultants and subcontractors, ensuring works are progressing in line with programme while proactively resolving any technical challenges that arise.
• This role will suit someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving quality across all mechanical and electrical aspects of a build.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing building services packages on large-scale London projects (£50m+)
• Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and public health systems
• A track record of successfully coordinating subcontractors and maintaining programme delivery
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with project teams and senior leadership
• A relevant engineering qualification is beneficial, though not essential
