About Us:

Our client is a well-established residential contractor known for delivering high-quality apartments across London. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a driven Assistant Site Manager to join our client's team and support the successful internal fit-out of a flagship new-build residential development.

Role Overview:

This is a key role supporting the Site Manager in coordinating and overseeing all internal works—from first fix through to final finishes. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring our homes are delivered to a high standard, on schedule, and in line with our commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the internal fit-out process on a new build residential site
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to deliver high-quality finishes
  • Monitor progress, ensuring works are completed in line with the build programme
  • Carry out quality checks and snagging, ensuring compliance with specifications
  • Maintain health and safety standards, including site cleanliness and safe working practices
  • Liaise with site management, trades, and external consultants
  • Maintain site documentation, including daily diaries, H&S records, and progress reports

Requirements:

  • Experience working on internal fit-outs within residential construction
  • Solid understanding of build sequences and finishing standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS certification preferred
  • Full UK driving license (if applicable)
