Henry James Saddlery is one of the fastest growing saddleries in the UK. We design and manufacture high end bridlework and saddles for riders who care about fit, welfare and quality. We’re a small but mighty team who are ambitious, hands on and supportive. This role will play a big part in shaping how the brand grows. This is a hands on role in a fast moving business. You’ll lead and coordinate all marketing activity across the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the full B2C and B2B marketing strategy and brand positioning.
  • Planning and delivering campaigns across email, paid media, social, website and offline.
  • Aligning launches and promotions with stock, e-commerce and sales activity.
  • Developing and managing the content and campaign calendar.
  • Setting creative direction and managing photoshoots and briefs.
  • Running organic and paid social strategy.
  • Managing email marketing, website content and lead generation.
  • Tracking performance, producing reports, and turning insights into action.
  • Supporting events and trade stands when required.

The Ideal Candidate

You’re comfortable leading marketing on your own. You’re strategic, commercial, and happy getting stuck in with execution.

You will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing
  • Ideally have 3 – 5+ years’ experience in marketing
  • Have a proven record of delivering campaigns that drive growth.
  • Be confident owning strategy and delivery
  • Be comfortable with analytics, reporting and performance marketing.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be highly organised, calm under pressure and commercially minded.
  • Have a strong visual and creative eye.
