I am keen to speak with Graduate/Seasonal Ecologists, based in the West Midlands, who are on the lookout for a new opportunity and available for the coming survey season. The successful candidate will assist with habitat and protected species surveys, whilst working at a multi-disciplinary consultancy, with a great reputation and varied projects.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree e.g. Ecology, Environmental Studies, Conservation etc.
- An understanding of UK habitats and survey methodologies.
- Willingness to travel within UK Midlands.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting protected species surveys.
- Supporting the preparation of Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and reports.
- Inputting and managing ecological data.
- Liaising with project managers, clients and other members of the team.
- Ensuring compliance with UK legislation and best practice.
